Integrations Architect

Location: Winnipeg, MB

The Integration s Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions that enable seamless data flow between disparate sys tems, applications, and platforms. The Integrations Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify integration requirements and design solutions that align with the organization's architecture and strategic vision. The Integrations Architect will play a key role in supporting the implementation of these solutions by collaborating with development teams to ensure that the technical implementation aligns with the design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integration solution s that enable seamless data flow between disparate systems, applications, and platforms;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration requirements and design solutions that align with the organization's architecture and strategic vision;
  • Support the implementation of integration solutions by collaborating with development teams to ensure that the technical implementation aligns with the design;
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed;
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed;
  • Ensure integration solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable; and
  • Stay up-to-date with technology trends and recommend changes to the organization's architecture and technology stack as needed.

Minimum Relevant Experience

  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience with a minimum of three (3) years designing and implementing integration solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Integration architecture design patterns (e.g. ESB, ETL, API, SOA, microservices);
  • Message-oriented middleware platforms (e.g. IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ);
  • API management tools (e.g. Apigee, Mulesoft, AWS API Gateway);
  • Integration development languages (e.g. Java,.NET, Python);
  • Integration development frameworks (e.g. Spring Integration, Apache Camel, Mule ESB);
  • Integration development tools (e.g. Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio);
  • DevOps tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes);
  • Cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform); and
  • Database management systems (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).

The Integration s Architect should have experience in designing and implementing integration solutions across a variety of systems and platforms, including on-premises and cloud-based systems. Knowledge of integration design patterns and best practices is essential. The Integrations Architect should be knowledgeable in the principles of API-led connectivity and able to navigate a hybrid cloud environment.

In addition to the technical skills required for the role, the Integration s Architect should possess strong leadership and project management skills. The Integrations Architect will be responsible for leading and managing the architecture and design of integration solutions, as well as overseeing the implementation and ensuring alignment with business requirements. The Integrations Architect will have a proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality integration solutions that align with the organization's overall architecture and strategic vision.
